With his U.S. tour coming to conclusion, and having just completed a video shoot for “Until Tomorrow Then,” you might think that Ed Harcourt would take advantage of some much-deserved time off to re-charge his batteries…but no, the prolific songwriter continues to forge ahead. The latest project? Scoring the film “S. Darko,” which of course is the sequel to the sci-fi cult favorite “Donnie Darko” — you know, the movie with everybody’s favorite evil imaginary rabbit friend.
Taking place seven years after the original, “S. Darko” follows Donnie’s younger sister, Samantha, who has started experiencing strange visions herself. Watch out for the “S. Darko” in 2009. In the meantime, Ed also continues to work on his upcoming EP, which he hopes to finish by September, and if he gets the chance, he might be able to sneak a nap or two into his hectic schedule.
